VANCAMP

Contact Music About/EPK
A drummer’s mid-pandemic challenge to compose a single song has gone too far.

Firmly nestled in the heart of Peterborough, Ontario, VANCAMP blends lively indie grit with sentimental acoustic charm, crafting music that is emotional, nostalgic, and authentic. Combining mindful lyricism with dynamic performances, VANCAMP’s music is shaped by life experience as a twenty-something.

Since 2022, VANCAMP has released 2 EP’s and has played festivals like Wintersong, Peterborough Folk Fest and The Road to Cultivate Festival. He has also shared the stage with artists like Mariel Buckley, Dom Louis, Field Guide, Sister Ray, Boston Levi, and Texas King.

Currently, Calvin is writing for VANCAMP’s debut album, which is set to release in late 2024. He is aware of the trailblazing artists that built Canadian folk music, and is actively working to honour that history with his own work.
